How it works

Set it up once. Find things forever.

No more opening every drawer. Ubicato remembers where everything went, so you don’t have to.

Map your room

Enter the room’s size and name the walls the way you think of them. A five-step wizard adds cupboards, racks, desks and drawers, with a live 3D preview of where each one will stand.
Put things away

Add items to any shelf, drawer, box or pouch. Type several at once, such as “3 x AA batteries, stapler, scissors”, and add a photo of what’s inside a drawer.
Ask, and it shows you

Start typing and “stap” finds the Stapler. Doors and drawers open, an orange beam marks the exact spot, and arrows on the floor lead you to it.

Drag to look around, pinch to zoom, or switch to Walk mode and move through the room at eye level.

Built for real cupboards and real clutter

Search that forgives

Matches parts of words across names, categories, tags, notes, and the name of whoever has it now.

Storage inside storage

A pouch in a drawer in a desk, or a pen stand on top of it. Ubicato follows the chain, across as many rooms as you need.

Lend it, get it back

Note who has an item and when it’s due. It keeps its home, so search still tells you where it belongs.

History and “last seen”

Every add, move, loan and return is recorded. Records you haven’t checked in months turn amber, then red.

The Tray, for big tidy-ups

Gather items from anywhere, then move, lend or delete them all at once, with Undo straight after.

Trash and automatic backups

Deleted things wait in the Trash until you’re sure. A backup is saved each time the app opens, and you can find it in the Files app.

Privacy

Your inventory stays on your iPad.

What you keep, and where you keep it, is your business. Ubicato is built so that it never leaves your device.
